This workshop is designed to help you start creating simple sentences in Te Reo Māori. We’ll cover how to talk about things that have happened, things that are happening now, and things that will happen in the future. If you understand most of what’s being said in Te Reo Māori but find yourself unsure how to respond or start speaking, this workshop is for you.

We’ll break down common roadblocks like figuring out when to use “i” versus “ki,” or how to confidently use tense markers like "kei te," "e...ana," "ka," "i," and "kua." Through clear examples and interactive exercises, we’ll make these concepts easy to understand. Don’t worry if you're unfamiliar with grammar terms—we’ll keep it simple and practical!
