Māori Workshops in Seattle

Learn Māori Abroad founder & director Amelia Butler is back in Seattle in March! Join us for two traditional Māori workshops and immerse yourself in Te Ao Māori (Māori culture) for an afternoon! Whether you are new to Māori dance or have experience with kapa haka (traditional Māori performing arts) these workshops offer a unique opportunity to connect with Māori traditions and expand your cultural knowledge. Hosted by Te Fare o Tamatoa.

Workshop Schedule:

2:30pm - 4:00pm: Waiata ā-ringa (Action Song) Workshop

4:15pm - 5:45pm: Tī Rākau (Stick Game) Workshop. Sticks will be provided.

Location: DanceFit City, 334 Wells Ave S, Suite E, Renton, WA 98057. Entrance is on 4th street.
