About the class
"I am a story walker. This is not just a way to heal—it is a way of life. Our stories flow through us, carried by our ancestors, shaped by our lived experiences, and reaching toward the future. Yet, in everyday life, our stories are often broken into fragments—told in pieces rather than as a whole. Over time, this fragmentation can leave us feeling disconnected, incomplete, or lost." - Jasmine
Story Walking is a practice of gathering and living the whole story of our lives — past, present, and future. It invites us to walk through the landscapes of our ancestral stories, exploring both the shadows and the healings that move through generations. By recognising how these patterns shape our lives today, we can draw on their wisdom to create new, life-giving ways of being.
This practice honours the journeys of our parents, grandparents, and tūpuna (ancestors) — the paths woven through whakapapa…
